Spezia must play home games in Cesena | Football Italia

Spezia will have to play at least their first few Serie A home games in Cesena, because the Stadio Picco requires restructuring work.

This will be their first ever top flight campaign after winning the Serie B promotion play-offs.

The Lega Serie A have announced that the Stadio Alberto Picco does not meet regulations, so needs to undergo work before it can host league games.

Instead, Spezia will be hosted by the Stadio Dino Manuzzi in Cesena.

According to Sky Sport Italia, Spezia hope to be allowed into their own stadium for the game

against Juventus on November 1.
